Graduate Breakfast and Baccalaureate Service
Friday, May 19, the Class of 2023 was honored with a breakfast in Duke Dining Hall that included student speaker Jacob Chacon-Martinez, and a giveaway drawing courtesy of Alumni Engagement and Institution Advancement.
After breakfast, Graduates were directed to United Methodist Church in Louisburg for the Baccalaureate Service. There, students were gifted their earned chords; Student Ambassador, blue and white; Student Government Association, royal blue; Academic Success, red and black; and Exemplary Performance in Cheerleading, royal blue, white, and red.
On Saturday, May 20, Louisburg College held the 2023 Commencement Ceremony in the Jones Performing Arts Center (JPAC).
A total of 108 fall, spring, and summer graduates walked across the stage to receive their diploma. Awards were given to staff and students before Student Speaker, Caysey Colant, and Guest Speaker, John A. Hopkins Sr., addressed those in attendance.
Following the ceremony graduates met on the JPAC lawn to share in the excitement of their achievement with family, friends, administrators, faculty, and staff.
